After successful expansion of its rice processing arm, Param Exim Ltd, KLA has formed a new company "KLA Fruit & Vegetable Processing" for processing of fruits & vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are abundant in the Himalayan region. There is no state of art processing unit in the region and this leads to wastage of 30% of fruits & vegetables produced in the state. Company has invested Rs 100 million in this project to save this national loss. Further company is planning to expand its product range to increase the utilization of plant capacity thru out the year by additional investment into machines for different products.

  • A state of art advanced IQF line located in Himalayan foot hills most suited for fresh agriculture products due to its excellent weather conditions and rich soil
  • A multipurpose line to produce tomato puree, ketchup and variety of jams & sauces
  • Capacity to store 2000 MT frozen products in cold store (-18° C) with a provision for additional capacity of 2000 MT
  • Ample storage capacity for products being stored at ambient condition
  • State of the art laboratory for in house testing of microbiology, colour and other parameters of different food products
  • Full in-house power back up to have uninterrupted operations in case of power crises

Our Process

From Sourcing to packaging and delivery, our entire production process is geared to ensure quality and complete customer satisfaction. We source raw material from nearby farms / contracted farmers to ensure raw material of right quality at right time. We maintain strong and long lasting relationships with the agriculture community which include:
